The Bank of Latvia issued coins with five cats.
It goes on sale November 24th.
The coin is made of silver 925 is made based on the tale of Latvian writer albert Cronenberg’s “Five cats”. It is noted that the design of the currency has developed Anita Paegle - Illustrator of children’s books, and John Strupulis. The obverse features animals - Muris, Nuris, Incis, Minces and Pounces sleeping on the bed. On the reverse of these same cats holding in his paws a spoon or bowl.
