Monument to the dictatorship
This is a monument to Alfredo Stroessner, who was “re-elected” eight times by the President of the Republic of Paraguay from 1954 to 1989.
The Paraguayans smashed his statue, crushed it with a concrete block, pulled it off with fittings for fidelity and made the inscription “Never again!”.
